Dangerous deer and 14 tons of books

Couple of articles in today’s La Nouvelle République caught my eye:

(In Indre-et-Loire it is deer that are the biggest problem, particularly in springtime and in September/October with the hunting season. During our overnight stay in Alençon on Monday I read in a local paper that wild boar were the big problem on the roads apparently responsible for 60% of all road accidents involving animals. They are probably less of a danger on the autoroutes in Indre-et-Loire as most are now protected by high fences up to 2.50 metres and wild boar can't jump that high.)

(14 tonnes of books will have been delivered this morning to Chanceaux-près-Loches for today’s La Forêt des Livres from a warehouse in nearby Genillé. Last year 9800 books were sold during the 13th edition.)
